Projects

Each one lists how far it really got. Hardware that has not been built says so.

TP1

Jarvis HUD glasses

Planned. No hardware yet.

Problem
Wearable AI glasses are heavy, short-lived and reactive. Mine is meant to be light enough to wear all day and proactive.
Built
Picked the parts for version 1 and wrote a verified bench checklist for the first session: a Seeed XIAO nRF52840 Sense driving an Adafruit 1.12 in 128x128 mono OLED. The agent side runs through Base Camp.
Tech

  • SH1107 OLED
  • PlatformIO

Before You Fab

Live. Free checker.

Problem
A KiCad board that looks done can still be held up at the fab for missing files or rule violations.
Built
A fab-readiness checker. It reads your schematic, board and JLCPCB BOM and CPL files in the browser, uploads nothing, and lists what will hold up the order. Also ships as a command line tool and a GitHub Action, MIT licensed.
Tech
  • KiCad
  • JavaScript
  • Node
  • JLCPCB

TP3

RingLatch

Live. Demo line and site. Co-founder.

Problem
Trades shops lose jobs when nobody answers the phone.
Built
An AI phone receptionist for trades shops. I am a co-founder. The code covers the voice demo, the backend and the owner dashboard. Job booking and follow-up texts are not live yet.

Base Camp agent OS

In use. Runs my own work daily.

Problem
One person cannot research, draft and track everything a student company needs.
Built
An agent company I run my own work through. Scheduled agents research, draft and keep an Obsidian vault and task board current. Anything that sends, posts or spends money waits for my approval. Builder agents like the one that made this page open pull requests that an independent reviewer checks.

TP5

Upwork hardware work

Paid contracts, completed and active.

Problem
Small hardware teams need a board designed or reviewed and made ready to order.
Built
Paid KiCad and circuit work: a USB-C protection front end (contract ended with feedback and a bonus), a reed-switch battery power switch board (both milestones approved), a PWM controller board and a fuel pump primer timer circuit.

TP6

Data-logger PCB

Built. Brought up on the bench, three revisions.

Problem
A logger that keeps working with no computer attached.
Built
A microcontroller board with an I2C EEPROM for storage and a real-time clock that timestamps every sample. Schematic, layout, fab and bring-up in KiCad.
Tech
  • KiCad
  • Microcontroller
  • EEPROM
  • RTC

TP7

Iron Man helmet voice assistant

Built. Team project, ASME @ Illinois.

Problem
A helmet faceplate that opens when you ask it to.
Built
The voice assistant inside the ASME @ Illinois Iron Man helmet. It runs on a Raspberry Pi 5, listens for commands and drives the servos that open the faceplate.
Tech
  • Raspberry Pi 5
  • Voice control
  • Servos

TP8

32-bit ALU

Simulated. Verified in Vivado.

Problem
Digital logic you have not simulated is logic you have not checked.
Built
A 32-bit arithmetic logic unit written in SystemVerilog and verified in Vivado simulation.
Tech
  • SystemVerilog
  • Vivado
  • RTL
